Alluring Asia, brought to you by Bernice Choy, Travel Retail Visual Merchandiser & Product Trainer, Asia Pacific – Furla

Nha Trang, Vietnam

Nha Trang is a city with shining sun, friendly locals, and beautiful coastline. I was staying in Intercontinental Nha Trang Hotel which is 40-minutes from Cam Ranh International Airport. This beachfront hotel provided a delightful experience, with restaurants, shops and beach all in walking distance. I caught the sunrise before I started working one day and it put me in a better mood throughout the day.

There is a restaurant named Café Terrace which serves great quality of food with decent friendly service in a relaxing environment. Best of all, everything is so affordable, from the $US30 delicious lunch to the $2US sliced fruit found in the supermarket.

Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok is one of my favorite cities in Asia. I chose Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel for my last business trip to Bangkok. This hotel has a perfect location for shopping, right next to King Power Rangnam Duty Free Mall and they provide free shuttle service to the mall nearby. I also enjoyed excellent breakfast with a wide variety of food and beverages.

Nara is one of the famous awarded Thai restaurants in Bangkok with nice little touches in the interior decoration. I went to the one located in King Power Rangnam Duty Free Mall on a weekday evening to enjoy the well-known Boat noodles and I can say this is certainly the best Boat noodles I have had!

Okinawa, Japan

Okinawa is known as the Hawaii of Japan. Unlike the rest of Japan, Okinawa remains at a warm temperature all year round – perfect for enjoying the gorgeous beaches.

Yui Rail is a very good way to travel around in Naha, it takes only 15 minutes to get to the airport from city centre and it is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

I stayed in a brand new hotel, JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Naha, that is 2 minutes’ walk from the tourist spot, Kokusai Dori, which offers numerous restaurants and shops. The lobby is modern and stylish, and everything is clean and new.

I spent a night out in Kokusai Dori after work. There are plenty of restaurants, stores for souvenirs, traditional ceramic gifts, fashion items. I stumbled across a restaurant named Hateruma Kokusaidori, where they serve delicious Okinawa cuisine with traditional musical performance – definitely a place worth visiting.
